George won't go to Walmart with me anymore because I have a habit of telling mothers to control their children in the store. I don't need carts banged into my legs, I don't need to fall over stuff the kids leave on the floor, and I don't need to buy merchandise broken or dirtied by kids. And I'm normally so mild-mannered I will do about anything to avoid confrontation. Hometown Buffet seems to also bring out the virago in me -- George is still talking about the "Ice Cream Machine is not a Jungle Gym" incident of a few years ago... |
Tee hee... I put a rant on FB a few weeks back about mothers letting their kids run wild while yapping on the cell phones with their friends about how wasted they got the night before. I'm usually pretty tolerant of kids because I know they are only as good as the parent requires them to be. But for some reason that day, kids crawling up the racks just got on my nerves!
