Hi:
Thank you for your kind reply and reassurance. He seems fine and I gave him some plain rice just after he ate it and all's well so far. I had hoped that one milk choc M&M would not be enough to hurt him (he is over 8 pounds so not a very small dog), but I didn't know. I will now feed his normal lunch w/rice as it will dilute the choc and see what happens.
I will not post again unless he reacts badly. Thank you for helping me out.
I certainly will not make this error again!!!
