It's true! When I was a new Yorkie mommy, I let the groomer trim near Rio's eyes and immediately regretted it. You just have to be patient and fight the urge to cut it again!!! It's sooooo much easier to let it grow out and let the hair fall into place away from their eyes.
With my 2nd Yorkie Bullet, I knew better and his hair near his eyes has never been cut and is falling into place nicely (he's 6 months old).
