All I can say is that I was able to trim Tatum's nails until she was about 2 years old. Nothing traumatic at all happened.... she just decided she wasn't going to let me do it anymore. I do everything else (trim ears, private area, in between paw pads) and she sits and lays perfectly still for it all - even the hairdryer. But nails... nope! And I just decided it's not worth worrying about breaking her little legs while trying to keep her from wiggling. I have to take her to the vet for them to do it (sometimes it's the vet if he's not busy, most times it's the tech). She's a perfect angel for them when they do it. Go figure.
