 DH wants surgery!!!
Tia went in Saturday for her spay and baby teeth (2) removed. I dropped her off just before 8:30 am and picked her up around 2 pm. When Ally had her surgery, she was kept overnight. Tia came home the same day. What a difference! I'm not sure which is better. On the one hand, you don't want your baby to be away from you for a night and being couped up in a kennel all that time. (When Ally was brought home, it was almost like nothing happened.) On the other hand, I didn't like seeing Tia so helpless with same-day surgery. I've been sitting with her since she came home. Every time I moved Saturday, her little groggy eyes opened and she tried sooooo hard to get up to follow me, but couldn't. I had to have my husband watch her just so I could potty. My husband is so jealous, he says he wants surgery so I'll love him that much. lol Okay, if he gets surgery, I'll hire him a male nurse. I'll be too busy with my babies and I don't want him to get too excited with a female nurse!
I took her out at six pm to potty and did her business and dropped to the ground. Mommy picked her up and brought her back inside. Sunday, she seemed her normal self, but groaned a little. Her and Ally wanted to play so bad, I found it difficult to keep them apart. When Tia came home, Ally kept bringing her toys so they could play! How sad!
Well, I want to thank YT and a couple of members. One for suggesting another vet that was just as good as my old vet and had a lower spay bill and the other for suggesting a onsie after surgery. Boy did the onsie help. Tia is a licker and she cannot get to her scar with her little outfit on. Thanks a bunch! Really appreciated.
