I always hate to see that pups are only guaranteed against 'life threatening' disorders. There are so many issues that are genetic, like LP, that are not life threatening but still painstaking, expensive and heartbreaking to deal with. And in this case, life threatening AND non-treatable?
Liver Shunt can sometimes be treatable with surgery, but contractually, that would be the new owner's responsibility?
And if the stock is coming from USDA/pet shop stock...who knows what lurks in the background.
Eh, but those are just MY own concerns. What other people make of them are up to them, but they are factors that should always be considered.
