You are right about that. When people come here looking for information on how to judge the ethics of a breeder, usually the first things they are warned to avoid is people breeding extremely small females (under 5 lbs) and calling them "t-cups."

If anyone were to come to me with the information that their vet said it was safe, then my advice would be for them to find a new vet pronto!
