I agree, I think they are being affectionate but I got curious because when she does that, I'll ask her "what's the matter, Ellie?" and she'll look at me with her big brown eyes and so it makes me think she is trying to talk to me. <3 I bet Peanut's smile is adorable!! I love doggy smiles.
