I have a 10 month old Yorkie....with a possible liver shunt. We never did the bile testing but the vet is almost certain he has a liver shunt. He has not been fixed yet d/t the danger of putting him under. Anyway thats just some quick background on him. He goes for a walk with me every night and he is so so so excited to go. He does great keep up the entire 3 miles. Here's the probelm.. when people/dogs/bikes/ go by he flips out and becomes absolutely insane!!! He barks snarls growls. He looks like a rabid wolferine on the end of a leash. COMPLETELY out of control!!! I am really worried about my little man. He is totally normal and loving when we aren't walking. Another thing he does on our walks is lift his leg at least 20 times to mark/pee. Anyone have any suggestions. I am afraid he is going to bite someone or get ate by a big dog. I made the mistake of trying to pick him up during one of these fits and he actually bit me.
