If i'm on the ground and I'm playing a game with her, she'll sit there and put her paw on top of my hand or my leg. I looked it up and got some mixed answers. Some said it was a sign of dominance but others said it was a sign of affection. I'm not sure if its appropriate behavior so I wanted to ask the experts on the yorkietalk forums ;P I myself don't mind it b/c i actually think its a cute expressive behavioral thing that she does as if she is trying to communicate with me but I also suppose I wouldn't want her to be doing it if she is just trying to be dominating.
Are there any other behaviors that she does to show "dominance"? I'm not sure if that's a dominance sign but if that's the only one it's a pretty darn cute one I'm sure other people on here will be able to help. My neighbors dog does that to me when I stop petting her, but never while I'm petting or playing with her, she does it so I continue petting/playing with her.
