With all my pups as pups, I do start them off in my lap. but I've been lucky in that my breeders have beforehand, done several grooming sessions with the pups, but still they are in a new home, and with a new person. I brush alternatively with palm pets, and soothe them as they lie there. I always put my fingers in their mouth, ears, and paws. Getting used to touching sensitive places.
And like you all I do have a grooming table they go on, the same place to wash,e tc, and all my dogs get most especial treats after the grooming.

In fact it is rather hilarious,. whoever I have up on the grooming table the other two are on the floor just waiting and hoping. This in terms of all my dogs can last 2-3 hours before we are finally done. Then the dog on the grooming table gets the most yummy treat. The dog goes off the grooming table, and the other two just vie for up on the grooming table next. LOL LOL
