I often wonder how the Petsmarts get their groomers. Some of them do have nice groomers. My Penni used to be groomed by a groomer at Petsmart and when she left she groomed some of her customers at her home, so I used to take Penni to her. We have taken Lil Bit to Petsmart too without any problems. But last year we used a mobile grooming service, that has since gone out of business in this area, and one of the groomers they had has now got her own grooming business and she comes to the house once a week to bathe Beamer and she will take care of Lil Bit as needed. She is great with both of my furbabies. |
She still works there too. The groomer that I am using now it great and she is so good with mine three. It really is hard to find a decent groomer.
I'm really not sure where the groomers from Petsmart come from and how they are trained.
There have been quite a few thread on YT about dogs that have been injured or even died while in their care. The girl that Pebbles came from had a shi tzu that died while at the Petsmart near her home. She dropped her off to be groomed and about an hour later her dog was dead! So when I told her about the experience that we had she was so upset. I'd forgotten what had happened to her dog otherwise we would have never gone there.
