I'm sorry for your loss. It's never easy to deal with. Please know that there is no set time frame for grieving the loss of something or someone. We all deal with it in our own way and in our own time.
As for Frost- she's grieving, too. She lost her furbutt friend, and she knows her mommy is hurting. Giving her love and attention is NOT being disloyal to Rain in any way. He wouldn't want you to be upset, he'd much rather you be happy. And he would want Frost to be happy, too.
