I don't think anyone will ever forget that day. I was at work and we started hearing about it on the radio. We kept up with it by radio and news sites on the web. I went home for lunch and saw the second tower go down. The towers, along with the Pentagon and the plane in Pennsylvania was just shocking.

On a side note, 9/11 is my youngest son's, and also my step-daughter's birthday, so we focus on that, but can never forget the loss of all those souls on that day.

Side note #2: Last month was the 41st anniversary of Hurricane Camille and the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. There were memorial services here on those days honoring the hundreds that perished in those storms. We'll never forget those days or those that were lost but most here feel the best way to honor the dead is to rebuild, carry on and live life well.
