I didn't really mean to groom the puppy while on her lap. I meant more, while the puppy is laying in her lap, being petted, to brush her more as a "petting" procedure, so when she is being groomed the brush will be familiar to her as something good.
I use to do that with Penni (my first Yorkie) I would just "pet" her with a soft brush while she was in my lap. Just using the brush instead of my hand to stroke her. |
Thats how I got my Jewels used to being brushed and she hated the brush so it was baby steps
