I do not have experience with canine elevated glucose levels. However, do not panic as if it does happen to be diabetes it is treatable. Just look at how many Americans have Diabetes and live long productive lives. You have to think about it this way..... if it is, you have caught it in time. However, if it is not, then you have worried yourself sick for nothing.
So take a deep breath, and just try to not run yourself through the ringer. I know that I have read somewhere here on YT, that there are yorkie owners whose pups do have Diabetes and they will be able to help you out. I will try to do some research and find out who they are.
