Some people are just clueless and rude. They aren't worth your time or worry over when they are gone. You have a precious and obviously well loved little girl, and that's all that matters.
{Personally though, I've got no problem with making a smart azz comeback to someone who is rude like that. Though to be honest, it would have probably gone right over her head!}
