I'm sure there are rare instances of small breeds experiencing this, but stastictically wise... it's just not very likely. I just read that it's more common in large breed males, who eat a large amount of dry kibble and exercise afterwards. Pickles are not dry... and if she vommited everything up then there can't really be anything left inside to expand.
