I don't believe that yelling him or punishing him, by crating, will work. You just have to be very patient, and take him out every hour (if possible). PLUS, 4 months is too young to expect them to be fully trained. Patience and lots of praise and love usually does the trick. I know it is very hard and time consuming but once they get the hang of it, you'll be done. Also, try to stay in the same room with the pup at all times. I did have luck writing the time my pup urinated and have a BM for a few days,and once the routine was established I was able to catch him in time to bring him outside. Worked. Best of luck
