Neutering is so much easier than spaying. They will probably give him a dose of pain meds before you pick him up, and sometimes those pain meds makes them feel so good, that they forget they had surgery...just make sure you dont let him jump up and down for at least a week, leash walk only for the next week, keep the incision area clean and DRY, and just watch out for him.....he should be fine!
