I did almost all of the grooming on my three little girls, but had them groomed professionally once or twice a year. One of my little girls was injured many years ago when she was being groomed. She ended up going into shock and I luckily rushed from the groomer to an emergency hospital nearby. We were able to save her, but it was close. After that I always groomed my three girls myself. I know most groomers are excellent and, even with the best, accidents happen. I just think the more we are aware of the dangers, the more we can protect our little ones. I appreciate the time you are taking to educate us and the help you are giving to protect innocent animals.
Those pictures are so hard to see. Poor baby is "cooking" from the inside out! I'll keep little Bailey in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she makes a full recovery.
