The pads are dirt cheap. You need to remember that shipping is not cheap...they cannot lower that price as it is set by UPS or USPS. Those pads are heavy. I deal with shipping costs all of the time and trust me, they are ridiculously high. The other issue is that the pads need large boxes...more weight, larger box = higher shipping charge.
