If they don't allow pets, you are better off to board them. If they do, but if there is a deposit, then you are probably better off boarding them. Though boarding can get quite expensive too!
I would never trust our three in a stranger's home to not have accidents, get sick or worry about chewing something. I would hate for it to ruin your vacation!
