Just for future reference, a blue nose pit is not more of a pure breed. They are all the same. That's just what some breeders say to make you pay more $$. Also, I had a pit for 2 yrs. He played very nice w/ my yorkie & was the sweetest most obiedient dog ever. But some mean kids frightened him & scared the crap out of him one day, so he is very scared of kids or short people now. So, we decided to give him to an older couple w/ a farm when we had our baby. Just in case. I don't think he ever would've hurt her, but I didn't want to take a chance. I love the pit bull breed, I think the are very beautiful & obedient. Its just how you raise them. My parents have one also that sleeps w/ 4 cats! Anyways....just my view on pits. Also you have to think about your city laws, cause pits are banned alot of places. Good luck! Maybe your bf could get a yorkie!
