Well figured I would update to all that are interested.
I took my first conformation/handling class on Tuesday and it was awesome!!
My little girl did great for a 3 month pup and the lady that does it was impressed with our amount of confidence. I have been working with her for only 2 weeks but she is a natural. A big golden boy got loose and came right over to to her and all 2 pounds of her just stood there and sniffed him back when he was sniffing her. The instructor commented how that could have been a bad situation, but that my little girl and I acted as we should. We both stayed calm (

and that was hard as heck) and the golden was retrieved by his owner who had fallen during an exercise

.
Then we went on to turning, baiting, and praise. And oh boy does she love baiting. She has only ever had Merrick puppy, so the string cheese was right up her alley. Her eyes were glued to me with that during the turns. I could not have been happier.
I did go to shows the past 2 weekends and met some wonderful people. I have to that have offered to help me and guide me. I was honored and the one lady was awesome. Her boy took best in breed and I was able to pick him out from the whopping 4 entries

. What a surprise it was when she showed up at the conformation class with the little guy!!
I may not have the best dog in the ring. But I plan on showing for my experience and hope for the best. I have definately been bit by the show bug
