I know there are a lot of people on YT that work full time and have Yorkies and I'm sure they do fine.
Having said that, Yorkie personalities can vary quite a bit.
We have three. Wrigley is very dependent and has separation anxiety, she wouldn't do well being left alone 8-9 hrs a day.
Camden & Crosley are a little more independent, but they still wouldn't be that happy about it, but they are all used to having someone here most of the time!
It's a shame that you can't come home at lunch or find a dog walker to break up the day, that would make it easier.
