There was a ghost in a house we lived at in England, actually there were two. But they were no problem. And when my husband was stationed at Bentwaters-Woodbridge his squadron had a problem with "East End Charlie" who was said to be a Luftwaffe pilot who was shot down during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Story is he was caught and burned alive by the people in Woodbridge. But he haunts the base. My husband was in charge of the radar maintenance, and they had a supply hut. They would lock it but it would always be mysteriously unlocked. "Charlie" was said to have sat on the hood of the base fire department's patrol vehicle and burned his handprint into the metal. Story is the driver ran away when "Charlie" laughed at him. "Charlie" had also been seen in his Luftwaffe uniform on the military bus that went between the twin bases.
So, yes, ghosts do exist.
