My yorkie is 6 months and loves running around on walks and playing with other dogs. I know there are similar posts but I just wondered the surgeon has postponed the surgery they thought would be necessary, hopefully until he is fully grown. He is only a grade 2 but they say if I leave it, it will get worse and to be honest I can feel it pop in and out with my own hands, albeit it causes him no apparent pain except for one time when we initially noticed it.

I loved the surgeon and he was honest and up front saying he would leave it just now if it was his dog but that he probably would need it in the future especially as he loves being so active but I just wondered how long others dogs were in recovery for after the surgery?
