Hydrocephalis is treated also with medications, and I won't scare you but it can be a symptom of other diseases. All are most often treated with medications to control the production of fluid going to the brain, and to get the excess fluid out. It is important, I'm sure you realize this, to determine if there is an underlying cause, and to get your pup on the appropriate regimen to eliminate or at least control his symptoms. Please do insist that your vet give you a referral to the neurologist.

His BATs are WNL, so no shunt, at this time.
