You can find them at a medical supply store. Since your so close unwaxed dental floss will work fine. I had even after I used the hemostat I had to tie it with dental floss because it wouldn't stop bleeding. I always have to have help to do the floss I am not steady enough.

I just wanted to add I use 2 hemostats and cut in between. That way the one near mom will keep the placenta from slipping back in when it all doesn't come out at first.
