I use the same setup for Sydney. We can get some pretty nasty weather here and she (and I) appreciate it when the wind howls and the sky opens up, that she can do her business inside. She also knows she can go outside, too. A crate really helps. If you stick with a strict potty, food, and play schedule, it helps.
