If he's not fat, then you have what will likely be a 7-8 pound boy. My only advice is to enjoy every ounce of him.

Yorkies are notorious for making a lie of the growth charts and the younger they are, the less accurate the charts can be. Here in the U.S., the norm is to not place a pup before 12 weeks. At that point, you can be a 'little' more sure of the size, but it's still a guess. It depends on the dogs in your pups ancestry as to size, coat quality, etc.. The only way to be 'sure' of what you're getting is to get an older pup.

I hope you're not disappointed in him and will love him for the dog that he is. He doesn't sound like he'll be over-size, just not small. I'm sorry if you were led to believe otherwise by the breeder. No reputable breeder will guanantee size on a pup.....especially at 8 weeks.
