Its such a shame that you cant get a breeder to take you seriously. I can understand why altho i dont agree with it. I guess anything can happen to any one of us owning our yorkies. Moving house, losing our job, spliting with hubby and not being able to afford our yorkies etc.

Anyone of these things can happen to anyone so its a little unfiar to say you MIGHT move somewhere that allows no pets because i have a yorkie and would not move into somewhere where no pets are allowed?! To think that school and collaege work may leave you little time with the yorkie, most of us have full time jobs while looking after our little yorkies. I am sure you have thought about the financial side of owning a yorkie and if you think you can afford it and can give your little one enough time then i dont really see a problem with you having a yorkie. As long as you know this dog will come first before most things for the next 12-15years.

I am a young girl who is a proud yorkie owner. I have a full time job and i would HATE for someone to tell me i couldnt own a yorkie because i am young and work full time. I think its important for a breeder to ask these questions and just not rule people out because they are young and in college. Good breeders will ask ALOT of questions and make sure you can afford it and maybe even have a chat to your parents etc and way up the pros and cons.

Its looks to me like you will be a lovely mummy to a yorkie. Just make sure you can afford this little one for the rest of its life, take out pet insurance etc.

Good luck xxxx
