It's fine if that is how she is (she's been consistent since we got her), but I would think more energy would keep her healthy in the long run. She goes to the vet for grooming tomorrow, so I will ask them if they can run a test on her, or if I can make an appointment ASAP. She is like my 3rd child, so I want to take every precaution to keep her healthy and thriving with our family for a long time.
It would be good to get a chem profile and CBC done first, which can be used as a baseline for any future health screenings.. The BAT is a fasting test and takes 2-4 hours... may need to drop her off for the day... that way they'll get to see what she does too. You will probably need to ask for it and to schedule a day to have it done. All Yorkies should be BAT tested within their first year. Also take in a stool sample to be checked if it hasn't been done within 2-3 months. Ask your vet about food for her... after the bloodwork comes back. In the meantime, I'd feed a mid-range protein food 20-30% protein, unless your vet recommends otherwise.

Are you feeding her 3-4 times daily? Does she get treats inbetween meals?
