Aw, I'm sorry. That sucks. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have supportive parents. My dad and stepmom LOVE Jackson to pieces. My dad calls him his granddog, and spoils him like crazy. He allows him to jump on his bed, his furniture, bed for food, LOL. However, I usually don't go over there and just leave him there.... it sounds to me your mom was more irritated with the fact that you left them there alot? I dunno, maybe not. I know you've mentioned before they just don't really like dogs period. My dad will watch Jackson for me if I have to go away for the whole day, or a few nights, etc. I sometimes feel guilty though because I know it's a lot more difficult to watch 3 dogs. I try to never come over there and just leave Jackson there for 8 hours, because it's not fair to Jackson or my dad. Bentley was probably sick out of nervousness? Has he ever been to your parents house? I know if I took Jackson to a place he had only been once or twice, and then just left him there for 7 hours, he would be really upset and nervous. But I'm so sorry you have to deal with parents like that, I can't even imagine mine acting like that. |
