I read where are 4 styles of puppy play: chasing, neck biting, batting with paws and body slamming. Yorkies tend to play with all of these except body slamming. Other toy breeds that understand these types of play are Cavallier King Charles Spaniels, Maltese, Pekingese, Poodles, Pugs and Shih Tzu. If you can find another Yorkie for Belle to play with you will notice both of them playing the same way.
