I think you have been given good advise but I have some questions for you?

Is this puppy new to you? If so,where did you get it? Breeder, Pound, Humane Society?

If not new where has he been lately that he could possibly have picked up this disease, i.e. park, vets, someone else's home, walking in the neighborhood?
