What should I do???
You can buy teeth scalers for dogs. I got mine from Foster & Smith, and use them occasionally. They definitely work, but you have to scrape very gently. Even though I brush my boys' teeth almost every night, they still get a little buildup on their back molars. Between brushing and using the scaler, neither one has needed any dental cleanings.

You may want to gradually get Leo used to the toothbrush. As he gets older, he'll need his teeth brushed and the earlier they get used to it, the easier it is.
