Just to let everybody know-SO NOT a good idea to put bird and squirrel feeders up in the back yard or anywhere you may let your babies run free!
This AM around 10 my DH let the boys out for a little run. He let Connor in after a little while, but as per usual Neo was being the pain in the a-- about comming in without a bribe. So DH decided to sit at the patio for a bit while Neo got to explore awhile longer. Lo and behold, down swooped a BIG red-tailed hawk with a Yorkie jones!
DH chased it off and got Neo inside, but it was too close a call to chance it anymore. NO more feeders in the back yard. They attract prey (birds, squirrels, field mice) and predatory birds are on the attack, at least today. Better safe than sorry!!!
