So, his breeder hadn't registered him.
Here's the thing, many breeders had pedigrees for their AKC registered dogs, but were not sold breeding rights. So they either register with the CKC or tell puppy buyers registration isn't necessary. Either way, they had no right to breed the dogs in question, registration allows the puppy buyer to KNOW if the breeder in question had breeding rights. Every time we support good breeders, we are supporting the future of the Yorkshire Terrier.
