I think most of the YTCA members and other dedicated show breeders think the parti is not a true yorkie regardless of claims from others. I have seen many morkies and shorkies that look very much like a yorkie and I have seen yorkies that look like morkies or like they could be mixed with something else. Also I have seen many parti yorkies that do not look like a yorkie. The fact of the matter is that there are many yorkies and parti yorkies that are being bred that do not meet the standard, that will never change but those breeders that breed dogs that do not meet the standard should not try to get the YTCA to change the standard to meet their needs. JMO
