Studies show a correlation between allergies and infected anals. With the fast onset of the ear infections and the infected anal it could be an allergy. In the spring and fall is the most common time for allergies, it is possible this is what set it off. The vomiting is most likely due to the anal gland pain making your baby upset. It helps to use a warm cloth on the bum to help bring the antibiotic to the area faster and they usually like it. Also keeping the anals expressed every 2 to 3 days helps the infection clear up much quicker. |
