Yes... that's why it's so important to note the times of when the meds and food are given and when the vomiting occurs, and to eliminate other causes (eating grass). One wants to make sure the meds are not compounding the problem.

If he's not pooping bc of anal gland pain, getting backed up could cause the grass craving and vomiting, as can fever and infection.

I totally agree that dehydration is a major concern. This pup needs to be monitored closely for food and water intake and output, and any medicine reactions. If all systems are not functioning properly with 24 hours, I'd take him back to the vet. Vomiting and grass craving can happen with foreign body ingestion, and a host of other illnesses/problems.
