Just a few months ago my husband had to take Lil Bit to the emergency clinic, We had to put down a $967 deposit for them to look at her and keep her overnight. Luckily they called us a couple of hours later that she was fine, and we did get most of that deposit refunded - but it took a few days for the refund to show up on our debit card, although the deposit was taken out right away.
