Stick to your guns...it is in her best interest! Your vet is right...they will eat if that is all there is to eat! You are feeding good food! So, don't think you are being cruel. Not giving her food that will make her ill is being a good mommy!
In time, once she realizes you will not give in, she will stop her begging. Trust me...I have been there.
