Your dog is cute!   |       Thank You for responding kindly to my thread. I am going to contact the makers of the Calcium carbonate and see if they have a recommended dosage. Because the kind member of another forum who told me about this, fed her dog the exact same thing I'm feeding mine which was recommended by her vet. Because her dog too would not eat the K/D canned food from Hills.  She also gave me the dosage (using the same product/manufacturer I bought) but her dog was only in the 4-5 lb range.    
Thank You also for the comment that my dog is cute. We love her dearly and I too think she's a sweetheart.
