IMO, advice given over the internet or stories about personal experiences should never replace a veterinary opinion.
This member of another forum I talked about was & is a member of the K9Kidney group on Yahoo. She herself with recommendations of others on the group who have consulted with their vets on this supplement kindly told me about using this. Therefore I do know that "stories" about personal experiences should never replace a vet's opinion unless they come from a very reliable source who has more than researched this supplement and or has previously consulted with her veterinarian on this.
