You would need to rethink buying a Yorkie. Yorkie's are an expensive little heartstealer. They need lots of attention (grooming can be expensive).
If you can't afford to buy one then look at the shelters and rescue groups. But still be sure you are going to be able to afford all the vet fees.
But be warned, if you buy from an ad in the paper, or Craiglist, or anywhere other than a reputable breeder you are not going to be able to guarantee a healthy Yorkie.
What starts out as inexpensive can end up being the most expensive.
Some Yorkies have problems that are genetic, and your puppy mills and BYB don't screen their Yorkies before breeding.
When I bought Beamer last year, I could have bought a much cheaper Yorkie through the ads in the local paper. But I wanted a healthy dog that was bred to standard and had good lines (Not for showing or breeding, as I neither show nor breed), but this is a dog that is going to be a member of my family for many years (my first Yorkie lived 15.1/2 years) and I don't want to spend most of his life at the vets.
