Yes her pneumonia has resolved. She still has a bad cough but the worst is over.
- I met Carol last August at the senior apts my Dad (RIP) was living at. I saw her sitting with a yorkie in the lobby one day and started a conversation. She had gotten Nikki from a rescue 2 years earlier. She was in bad financial straits so I took over Nikki's financial needs. Carol had a stroke in February and I told her I would take Nikki until she could hopefully recover enough to take him back. She had been estranged from her kids but we had to notify them when she had the stroke. The dtr moved her by her about 90 minutes from me. Now her kids don't visit and she so wants to get back here. I don't think she will ever be able to live on her own again so I try and take Nikki out every 2 weeks to see her.
