As far as "bragging rights" is concerned. You guys do it all the time. I see brag threads and everyone is happy for the one who is bragging. You can bet your last dollar that when I do finish a carrier (and I will) I will be here to brag about it. |
I guess the difference is that I am/we are breeding to the standard of the breed and you are breeding color faults. And you will be using "champions carriers" that cant produce correctly either. Just because the dog is a "champion" that doesnt mean he/she can produce quality.
As for bragging rights, I love to brag about my guys when they do good in the ring, that wasnt the point. What I mean by bragging rights is there will be lots of braggin going on with the acquisation of the coveted "champion" and his champion bloodline that you had nothing to do in creating.
So its just a circle. I dont see the point in showing carriers. Whats the point if you cant produce correct puppies? Except for a selling/bragging point.
